Experience the tastes and sounds of Greece by joining Montgomerians of all ages at the 23rd Annual Greek Food Festival and Pastry Sale on Friday & Saturday, Nov. 1 & 2.
With scents of fresh lemon juice, oregano, garlic – mainstays of Greek cooking – enticing your tastebuds, and Greek music filling the air, the Festival provides Montgomery’s best opportunity to experience the taste and sounds of the “old country.”
Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. and Dinner will be served from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. on the grounds of the Greek Orthodox Church at the corner of Capitol Parkway and Mt. Meigs Road. Tickets can be purchased at the door.
Chicken, pastichio, and vegetarian plates are $12 and lamb plates are $14. Pastry prices vary. Diners can eat in the community center or get their meal to go. Lunchtime drive-through access will also be available on Friday. Opa! Come celebrate the zest of being Greek!
